An excellent guide - chock full of tips and a diversity of stops to consider! We had an awesome time exploring the North Shore using this guide to plan out our route.
Red Earth Adventures put together a wonderful 5-day tour of PEI for our group of nine that exceeded all our expectations. Local history and culture for the seniors, stunningly beautiful off-the-beaten path beaches for the millennials, and lots of fun activities and souvenir-hunting for the children, with many stops for heaping lobster rolls and delicious ice-cream for everyone! Red Earth Adventures made our family holiday so happy, easy and stress-free. We can’t wait to explore more of this amazing island with Red Earth’s personalized itineraries.
My wife and I were in Charlottetown with our kids for a wedding and wanted to make the most of our stay. Our friends suggested we try North Shore guidebook to ensure we got to take in all of the local treasures and hidden gems. There were so many great recommendations that I can’t wait to visit again. Definitely recommend!
As a first-timer to the Island, I loved having access to local knowledge recommendations for places to take in during my visit. I came to the Island with the hopes of unwinding by the sea, and really appreciated recommendations for some of the quieter beaches to chill, read, relax, and float. North Rustico Beach was stunning - beautiful red sands and there weren't a lot of other tourists the day I was there. The water was crystal clear and lovely and warm in the shallow parts – perfect for floating. In the New Glasgow Area, the recommendation for the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers was a hit for me and the friends I met there. It was incredible - we luckily didn't have to wait very long in line because we arrived early for dinner, but it is a place worth waiting for. The fresh seafood was absolutely delish and the serving staff were so friendly and fast! Thankfully we were also able to visit the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company right near by (and the beautiful gardens it's surrounded by). I stocked up on jams, honey, and some locally-made gifts for friends and family – and will definitely go back to vist the restaurant next time.
Thank you Red Earth for making my first trip so memorable! I'll be "coming from away" again soon!
